Ok. This is a movie that freaks me out to the core. I was a really young child when I caught it late one night on some random cable channel (uh probably USA Night Flight bc that’s all I was allowed to watch) and I was so young and it was so late, that I don’t know if I had really seen the movie or if I made it up, or if it was a freaky dream I had.
It really did haunt me for years and years and years. And it wasn’t until I was in college that I finally divulged this information to a friend of mine in a round of “what was the weirdest movie you’ve ever seen?” I fully expected him to look at me and say, “uh, whut? You must have made that shit up” but HE KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT.  Luckily we had a super cool indie video store in town and we found it and another freaky ass film by the same director. We watched it in much the same way as I did when I first saw it. Super late at night and super dark. I stil got freaked out exactly like I did as a child and now I can’t remember what the other movie was, bc I was falling asleep by that time.
So, for this post to have bubbled up evokes a ton of feelings and memories that I have always thought about, even to this day. I’ve never seen the movie poster for it and hearing the tracks brings me right back to that late night when I clicked on the tv and saw this.
